Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. Eastern time.  The meeting will be held in conjunction with our Chapter trip to Benham, KY.  This meeting will be short as we have little business at this time and dinner is at 6:30 P.M.  The meeting will be held in the dining hall at the School House Inn.

I hope you have reserved your rooms at the School House Inn and that you have sent in your form to me for the dinners and tours.  As of this writing there are a few rooms left, let’s try and book the whole hotel.  We are going to have a great time together in the Redbud covered hills of Kentucky.  We might even see a bear.

Since we are going to a town that IH built, a little background would be in order.  The IH publication “The Harvester World” which can be found on the website of the IH Archives at the Wisconsin Historical Society.  There are also some very interesting pictures of Benham as it developed.

Chapter 9 has often supported the Archives and this is evident with the ease at which you can access a great amount of information on IHC.
